Enecsys Micro Inverters was created by a group of PHD students from Cambridge Universities. They developed a unique solar micro-inverter to optimise the capture and monitoring of energy. They worked with mechanical design support companies to prototype and develop their models.
During the development of the product, they encountered several support issues – where design houses could not take the product into high volume production. The challenge was to find a company who could support the progression from prototype to mass production, covering all aspects of the product development cycle.
The VP of engineering had worked with the Strathclyde Designs team before and knew that they could, through their own abilities and the network of contacts, resolve all of their issues.
